Hey First ! Thanks to all the help provided to me from CalamityJane and anyone else. It helped me out a lot....but I was still unable to get onto Windows Updater and unable to sign in to MSN or get log-in pages to load ...so I thought well the problem must be in Windows itself and I looked in the Forum there for a fix and found one.....I really hope this helps anyone else with this problem.

Thanks Again, June Minard

I found this on Microsoft's Windows update site somewhere, and it
worked just fine: It was for error numbers 0x800B0003 or 0x800B0004,
but I tried it in desperation, and it worked.

"Register the following files with these steps:
1. Click on Start, Run and type "REGSVR32 SOFTPUB.DLL" (w/o the
quotes). You should see a popup message that this process succeeded.
2. Click on Start, Run and type "REGSVR32 INITPKI.DLL" (w/o the
quotes). You should see a popup message that this process succeeded.
3. Click on Start, Run and type "REGSVR32 MSSIP32.DLL" (w/o the
quotes). You should see a popup message that this process succeeded.
4. Now try the Windows Update site and see if you get the same
error."

Windows update functionality was restored after I re-registered these
three files. The one which I think got de-registered is "initpki.dll"
